Job Description
The Campus Director works under the supervision of the Company President and accepts responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Campus while creating a supportive and team-driven environment which allows students to achieve their goals. This is accomplished through collaboration and partnering with key corporate personnel to ensure compliance, positive outcomes, strong campus operations, and a healthy and positive working environment for staff, faculty and students. More specifically, responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership to Campus staff in overseeing day-to-day activities of the Campus ensuring the school delivers an exceptional, consistent experience for all our students.
- Leading weekly staff meetings to foster an environment of open communication and excellence.
- Regular interaction with Campus students and staff to build and maintain relationships and identify future growth and employment opportunities.
- Oversight of the Campus staff in the monitoring of the collection of tuition or any other income.
- Oversight of the Campus staff in obtaining any required certifications or training, and in managing special events.
- Monitoring campus operations purchases to ensure they are within budget.
- Providing leadership to Campus staff in establishing and building partnerships with key community organizations and groups.
- Working with the Campus Operation Manager to ensure the Campus and grounds are well maintained, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Maintaining a record of all contracts and billing obligations along with their corresponding contacts.
- Accountability and oversight for the Human Resources and Compliance functions of the Campus in coordination with the corporate Human Relations Manager and corporate General Counsel.
- Measurement of all internal and external processes/process changes for effectiveness.
- Providing timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Campus.
- Collaborating with the Corporate Senior Executive Management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of our organization.
- Managing relationships with partners/vendors.
Experience/Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience managing an organization with a large staff and customer base;
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters desirable;
- Successful track record of energetic leadership, accomplishments and vision;
- Strong computer skills required;
- High standards of quality and ethics;
- Budget preparation and management skills;
- Planning and creative problem solving skills;
- Analytic thinker and problem solver;
- Strong team building and motivational skills;
- Organized, detail oriented, skilled in multi-tasking;
- Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of people, from students to executive management;
- Passionate belief in the value of our Education Programs.
